The Glassroom is the workshop of Natasha Sorrell, stained glass artist, and
is based in Sheffield (UK). Natasha specialises in the restoration of
antique stained glass windows, the design and production of new leaded
windows and the creation of other items incorporating traditional and
modern stained glass.
Natasha also runs stained glass courses at Sheffield College.
All products are made with glass of the highest quality using
traditional stained glass craftsmanship. Windows and large
panels are leaded. The classic "Tiffany" technique (copper-foiling)
is used for intricate artwork and three dimensional pieces. Kiln-fused glass
items such as platters, bowls and hangings are made using the finest
fusing materials and equipment. Fused glass elements can be
incorporated into both leaded and Tiffany work if desired.
All items are tailor made to customer specifications with emphasis on individuality.
